“Well this wasn’t my idea,” you pout, standing right next to Alfred in a field of never ending gravestones.
“Don’t worry, (name), the hero will protect you!” Alfred shouts cheerfully but with a hint of hesitation.
“I don’t know, you look kind of scared,” you looked up at him and cooed. But to be quite honest, you were pretty scared yourself. Your idea of spending Halloween was not to be hanging with a bunch of rotting corpses.
“Pffft. I’m not scared.” Alfred gives you an ‘as if’ look. “But we’re going to freeze if we stand here, so let’s just walk around.”
“Um, okay,” you say nervously, your arms crossed in coldness.

Pirate!EnglandxReader Beg for Me Ch12You wake up, dazed, to see yourself on a dark, brown velvet couch. You rub your eyes and sit up, letting out a small moan. What happened again?
Oh yeah.
A pirate kidnapped you.

You glanced around the room, to find no sign of a presence. You got off the couch and stretched, your muscles aching with every movement. You sighed, and plopped back down on the couch again, surveying the room you were in.
It was very…well…Spanish-looking.
There was a flag of Spain hanging on the wall above the headboard of the bed, and the blankets on the bed had a cute little native design to it. It consisted of oranges, reds and yellows, giving you that warm, cozy feeling. There was a desk to your right that had some kind of matador cape hanging on the chair. And leaning against the wall was a guitar, that looked to have been used a lot.

They could see his hands balled into fists as he strides over to the hat. Arthur picked it up in one swoop, spun around, and angrily smashed his fist into the side of the wall right next to him. With a loud crash, the wall gave in as Arthur made a hole into it with his fist. His breathing became heavy as he let his head drop while his hand was still in the wall.
“Dammit…” Arthur muttered.
“Captain, you’re already hurt, don’t make it worse,” Keith said.
“I don’t give a damn.” Arthur replied bluntly. “I deserve it. (Name)’s gone and it’s all my fault.”
“Come on cap’n, I’m sure (name) is a strong lass. I think everyone including you knows that she can take care of herself,” David assures Arthur.

Also, not being upset by your broken violin was much easier than you thought it would be. It was like your safety blanket, an excuse to hide and get away from the world. It also represented your father, but you knew you had to move on. You may have lost the violin, but you still had your precious memories of him, and that was all that mattered. Even if those memories are some you wanted to forget.
It was another morning on the ship and you were sound asleep on the bed. You weren’t able to get much sleep the past few days but today was different.
Actually, it wasn’t. You just didn’t feel like getting up.

Of course, you would rather be sitting on your couch stuffing your face with candy on Halloween night but noo, Alfred had to barge into your house and literally drag your ass to Arthur’s.

i KNOW it's the cheesiest of the cheese but this would bother me for the rest of my life if i didn't do it, haha.
