9/11 fanfictions...Hi everyone who is reading this! First of all, what the title says is not going to be everything i am going to write here. But i'll start with the 9/11 fanfic topic anyway.
So, it has been a long time since i last logged on here, being that school is already a big pain in my butt! So after i logged in, i got greeted with about 1000 messages! WHAT THE CRAPOLA. LOL
I kind of had a feeling this would happen..the fact that there would be Americaxreaders on 9/11. Now, the americaxreader part doesn't really bug me THAT much, but some fanfics that i saw HAD to do with 9/11/2001 itself kind of did in a way. I am sure they were all well written, but coming from a girl who's father worked near the world trade center, i had to delete them. I DONT WANT TO BE A B*TCH HERE...I WANT TO PUT THIS IN TH NICEST WAY POSSIBLE! (i'm really a nice person... ; A ; )
Something (at least to me) that is serious like 9/11 shouldn't be thought of as, "i'm going to make an AmericaxReader!" day. I am sure people do
Question for people who write reader inserts.In most Reader Insert fanfictions, the characters who usually get the most development are -- of course -- whatever canon characters you're getting paired up with.
However, the Reader is definitely a character on her/his own, too.
With that, how do you usually portray the Reader in your fanfictions? Do you make her shy? Do you make her more outgoing? Do you make her pervy?
Although there's some differences here and there (like when I write child!Reader fics), usually, I like making the reader kind of like myself, although identifiable enough for other people to slip into her shoes -- whether you're a guy or a girl.
I make her a tad awkward in romantic situations, hopelessly addicted to anime and the internet, and have a weakness for cute men. Sometimes she's shy when it comes to affection, but other times, she doesn't mind doing the pursuing herself.
So... that's my take on a Reader character. What about you?

General update (Exams, Sweden? And other honhons)Dear loveys,
I'd like to start off by telling you just how much your comments helped me the other day. I know I haven't replied to them, but know that each and every one of them means so incredibly much to me. Thank you, really, I can't tell you how much better I felt reading them. I truly love you all so, so much!
In other news, I've received my exam timetable and I'll post it later nearer the time. Needless to say, I will be writing less and less each day now, because I really need to pass these exams. But expect me back and fully working when they're done :D

You know this is not true right? Sure the travel company is hosting a contest to challenge tourists to create a name that fits better, but the government of Iceland is not considering changing at all.

It's a horrible idea to change Iceland's name! People will get confused and things will turn into chaos!
